Refund Policy
A spot is a permanent, one-of-a-kind place in a finite record. That makes refunds unusual — so here is exactly how they work, before you pay.
The short version
Changed your mind within 24 hours and not yet shared your entry? Email us and we'll refund it and burn the number. After that, a sealed spot is final.
01
The 24-hour grace window
If you regret your purchase, write to us within 24 hours of payment and we will refund you in
full, provided your entry has not been widely shared or embedded elsewhere. When we refund,
the entry is removed and its number is burned
— retired so the count stays honest.
02
After 24 hours
Because each spot is a permanent, numbered, public artifact — and part of its value is that
it cannot be casually undone — sales are final after the grace window. We will always look at
genuine exceptions in good faith, but the default is no.
03
We removed your entry
If we remove an entry for breaking the
Terms
— a slur, spam, or similar — no refund is due, and the number stays burned.
04
Something went wrong on our end
If you were charged but no number was assigned, or you were charged twice, that is on us —
write to us and we will make it right quickly, including a full refund of any duplicate
charge. Our payment flow is built so this should be rare.
05
How to ask
Email [email protected]
with the email you paid with and your number if you have it. Refunds are issued to your
original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
